About your information.
This page explains how this website handles the information you choose to share through the enquiry form, and what happens when you watch the opening film, open a document link or sign in to edit the website.
What the enquiry form asks for
The form asks for your name and email address so the centre can reply.
You can also include a phone number, your child's age group and a message.
Please share only the information needed for an initial enquiry, and discuss detailed health or care information directly with the centre.
Who receives it
Your enquiry is emailed to Blackwood Community Child Care Centre, with a copy to Chris Lourenco at Loudachris, who maintains this website and helps check that enquiries reach the centre.
The website is hosted by Vercel, and Resend processes the enquiry email.
These providers process the technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, which may involve systems outside Australia.
Keeping the form working
The form uses basic technical checks, including a temporary submission identifier, timing information and an IP-based rate limit, to help manage unwanted submissions.
Technical logs record delivery outcomes and form-protection decisions.
This demonstration website doesn't include advertising trackers.
The opening film
The homepage plays a short opening film the first time you visit it in a browser session, and opens straight away when your device is set to reduce motion or save data.
Your browser's session storage remembers that you've seen it, so the homepage opens straight away for the rest of your visit.
When you choose "Watch the opening film" on another page, a second note asks the homepage to play it, and the homepage clears that note as soon as it reads it.
No cookie is set, and these notes stay in your browser until you close the tab, so nothing about them is sent anywhere.
Document links and QR codes
When you open a document link or scan a QR code from the centre, the website adds 1 to an anonymous daily total for that link.
These totals help the committee see which links and posters families use.
No cookie is set, and no personal information is recorded.
Signing in to edit the website
People who update the website, or open committee documents, sign in with a link emailed to their address through Resend.
Each editor's address is stored with a record of the changes they make, so the committee can see each page's history.
When a page is restored, or someone is added to or removed from the editor, a notice naming them goes to the website administrator.
To limit repeated sign-in requests, the email address entered and a scrambled form of the network address are kept for a day.
The website's pages, documents and editing records are stored with Vercel and the database provider Neon, which may involve systems outside Australia.
A sign-in cookie keeps editors signed in, and it's set only for people who sign in.
